New Moon Wishes
January 15, 2010I made a few New Moon wishes in December. And tonight, on the first New Moon of the year, I read back through them, and tweaked them just a little. Interestingly enough, I didn’t really add anything to them. They were basically perfect as is. They haven’t come “true” as such, but they are keeping me focused on the things I want.
Tonight, I also wrote an abundance check, as outlined on Cara Yowell’s site. It was an interesting exercise, and I put the check with my New Moon wish list. I’ll keep you posted on how it all turns out.

An update in June 2010: I did the abundance check at 2 previous new moons. For May’s full moon, I took the checks outside and burned them to release the intention to the world. New moon rituals mention writing down wishes and goals and burning the paper, thereby releasing the intention. I didn’t like seeing these abundance checks sitting around “uncashed” so I thought I would “cash” them in. within a month, things did turn around for professional abundance.
